Hey Everyone! Hope you had an amazing week and have something planned for the long weekend.
I’ve been at the BiggerPockets Host Summit in Colorado where I’ve been learning and bonding with some of my great friends who host your favorite podcasts in the BP Network!
We’ve got two super exciting trainings next week on two VERY different topics, so I’d love to see you at one… or both! My next FREE webinar will be for Real Estate Agents on how to overcome fear and anxiety and communicate like a ninja. Join us February 22nd @ 5:00pm ET!
Far too many agents struggle with a lack of confidence and direction when it comes to negotiating for their clients-and advising them. If you’re someone who struggles with how to communicate confidently, clearly, and concisely I can guarantee it’s hurting your income levels. While this is tailored towards RE agents, the webinar is free and available for anyone who wants to learn the three C’s of effective communication.
And before that, we’re hosting a special Understanding Men and Women with a guest speaker! Allison Armstrong is one of the world’s foremost experts on teaching the differences between men and women when it comes to communication, instincts, purpose, and love. We’re thrilled to be able to bring her to you in a live interview format on February 22nd at 11:00 ET where David will be digging into what men should understand about women, women about men, and how we can all communicate more effectively and have more fulfilling interpersonal relationships!
The Federal Reserve began raising rates in March 2022 to battle inflation that at one point soared to four-decade highs. The aggressive tightening of monetary policy elevated rates to their highest in more than 20 years— pushing up the costs of borrowing across the economy, including for home loans. Mortgage rates, which hit their peak in October at about 8 percent, have been falling over the last weeks on the back of economic news that inflation has been cooling.
The Federal Reserve will likely cut rates this year, a policy move that could bring down the cost of home loans. The central bank suggested it was done with raising rates and that its next policy move would be a slashing of the Fed’s funds rate. Per CNBC-“We know we are not going to have any more rate hikes…we just don’t know exactly when this is going to happen.”
My advice is to pay attention to these rates and email me at DavidGreene@kw.com if you want to refinance and save some money.
We provide you with rate updates on each edition of Behind the Shine for this exact purpose:
Conventional: 7.375%
VA: 6.625%
FHA: 6.625%
DSCR: 7.875%
